elementaryOS is the comfy slippers of Linux distributions. If Apple ever ruins their privacy game, this is where I will end up.

 

It seems that HomeBrew on Linux is a good way to install newer packages without having to trust PPA authors.

 

It turns out if you enable the otherwise amazing Gnome Tweaks " Keyboard & Mouse > Pointer Location" setting then all your keyboard shortcuts using CTRL require doubling up, took me a week to figure that one out! on the desktop.

 

KDE’s ability to remove all panels continues the long-standing Linux tradition of shooting yourself in the foot.
